Our Chapter is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help staff our Hospitality Tent during the 2026 Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, July 9–12. 
For the third consecutive year, we will welcome alumni and festival visitors at our tent located in front of the State College Municipal Building (243 S. Allen Street), directly adjacent to the plaza. This highly visible location provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase Penn State pride while connecting with alumni and visitors from across the country. 
New this year! In partnership with the Penn State Alumni Association, we'll be offering 50% off new Alumni Association memberships, along with a Penn State Creamery gift card for everyone who joins the Association while visiting the tent. 
 Volunteers will: 
•    Welcome alumni and festival visitors.
•    Hold purchases for Arts Festival shoppers while they continue exploring downtown.
•    Sell bottled water and official Alumni Arts Festival T-shirts (our Chapter receives 50% of the proceeds from T-shirt sales).
•    Distribute cooling towels in exchange for donations.
•    Invite visitors to "pin" their hometown on our large alumni maps.
Volunteer shifts are 2 to 2½ hours, and you're welcome to sign up for more than one shift if your schedule allows. 
Your support helps make our Hospitality Tent a success while raising funds for Chapter scholarships through T-shirt sales and cooling towel donations. Just as importantly, our presence at the Festival demonstrates the Centre County Chapter's commitment to supporting one of our community's premier events and strengthening connections with Penn State alumni.
