The Centre County chapter is once again sponsoring winter hats and gloves for children in need in the Penns Valley area. This year we will be providing hats and gloves for 53  children. This project has a very short turn-around time. Hats and gloves need to be purchased, organized, boxed, and delivered to the HOPE FUND people shortly after Thanksgiving.
OUR GREATEST NEED IS FOR SHOPPERS. If you are willing to shop, please contact Mary Lou Dubil at mlmdubil@comcast.net by Monday, November 17. She will assign you the number of children you request and specific shopping information (ex. age, sex, size and if desired color or theme). You may want to consider putting together a shopping team – put on your Santa hat or Rudolph antlers and make it a friends day out!  We ask that you only purchase and provide hats and gloves that are requested and assigned by Mary Lou as there is no where to store non-requested hats and gloves).  Thank you for your kind consideration.
After you are finished shopping, please attach the child’s code number provided to each set of hats and gloves and drop them off at the Hintz Family Alumni Center on one of the following dates/times. DO NOT drop them off at any other time or leave them with the receptionist.  Any questions should be directed to Dottie Yukish dyukish@verizon.net.
