2018 COACHES CARAVAN

In addition to Franklin, hear firsthand updates from Penn State all-star coaches Patrick Chambers, Charlene Morett-Curtiss, and Russ Rose, and Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour.

Charlene Morrett-Curtiss (head coach, field hockey)

  • 500-plus career wins
  • Inductee of USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame
  • Inductee of National Field Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame

Russ Rose (head coach, women’s volleyball)

  • Claimed seven national championships
  • Led team to 16 Big Ten titles
  • Has won 1,200-plus matches

Sandy Barbour (Director of Athletics)

  • Recipient of National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics Under Armour AD of the Year Award (2016–17)
  • Forbes recently listed Barbour at No. 13 on its list of The Most Powerful Women in U.S. Sports
  • Penn State teams won seven Big Ten championships in 2016–17
